Long Pan

Born in Yichun in 1991, Her graduated from Intermedia Art of China Academy of Art in 2019. Long Pan pays close attention to the micro world in nature. She often makes works with biological materials such as plants and fungi. She believes that working with organisms is more about tapping into the vast world behind them, and the connection between that world and human society. Therefore, she believes that her works are not pure BIO art or ECO art. As a tool for her observation and understanding of the world, fungi lead her to shape her interpretation of all aspects of the world.
